The meaning of my art

Many other artist in my time used colors, curves, abstract shapes and was linear. My art was different i paint personal meanings with an architectural draftsman-like style. Many of my paintings are made up of muted colors and straight lines, if there are figures in my paintings they are usely drape like. Meant for these figures to seem familiar but unidentifiable. The muted colors and strong geometric shapes give a sense of absence and loneliness. An example of draperu stile I used is in one of my paintings, MARGIN OF SILENCE. The main figure is surrounded by drapes in the backdrop. In my paintings i did not only use stuructural blocks and lines, but also muted to colors to represent mmy self as a painter but also to impress my loneliness and my feelings inside.

i also borrowed motifs and styles de Chirico.

My room with two doors

This is one of my first paintings. I painted it in 1939, it is called "My Room Has Two Doors" though you can only see one door, in my painting i tried to imply that there was another door way by subtly painting a shadow of another door way.
